I believe that Inoue has included a special meaning, and the meaning is especially difficult to express in English. In the very last part of the song, there is the lyrics 永遠だけ・・・信じてた (T/N: I just believed in an eternal love), so I thought 「時ヲ止メテ」 maybe a symbol or symbolic representation of the song, meaning “forever”. Therefore, though not literally correct, I’ve made the trans as above, not including “Stop the time”.
